JUNE 15, 2022

I’m excited to announce that the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence is expanding to offer support to every preschool–eighth grade Catholic school in Minnesota.

CSCOE’s expansion is made possible by a $10 million multi-year investment from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, our initial and sustaining funder. This contribution is in addition to the Schulze Family Foundation’s already generous funding to CSCOE.

Making connections

For the past seven years, we’ve proudly supported the nearly 80 preschool–eighth grade Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, which comprises 12 counties and includes more than 22,000 students, and 3,000-plus faculty and staff. Now, CSCOE will support Catholic schools in the state’s other five dioceses — Crookston, Duluth, New Ulm, St. Cloud and Winona-Rochester. We can’t wait to get started.

With this expansion, our goal is to continue to strengthen Catholic education in Minnesota. Collectively, the 78 Catholic schools we currently serve and the additional 74 schools we’ll offer to support will benefit from better connections and more resources to bring even more excellence to students, staff and school communities.

Impact

Since we began seven years ago, CSCOE has:

Onward and upward

Since day one, we’ve been a bottom-up, opt-in organization. We listen to Catholic school principals and respond to their needs with financial resources, professional support and excellent programs that benefit them and their entire school communities. We’re humbled and honored to extend this support to every Catholic grade school in Minnesota.

Let’s go!
