More than 2,100 faculty, staff and leadership from the 79 PreK-8th grade Twin Cities Catholic schools gathered for a day of faith, fellowship and learning. This represented nearly 100% of employees, all of whom contribute to a school’s excellence. Attendees were treated to Mass with Archbishop Hebda and Bishop Cozzens, breakout sessions focusing on areas key to excellence in our schools, and an inspirational keynote from Mike Patin. Popular topics included: addressing student anxiety and depression, serving all students including those with exceptional needs, literacy for all, and integrating STEM in the classroom. The Summit of Excellence took place on October 16, 2019, at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
