Lou Anne Sexton brings deep gratitude, strong relationships, and a passion for impact to her work at CSCOE. A proud graduate of Catholic schools, Lou Anne is inspired by CSCOE’s vision to create and sustain a best-in-class model for preschool–8th grade Catholic education. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of St. Thomas and has spent her career connecting mission-driven organizations with benefactors who believe deeply in the power of Catholic schools.
What energizes Lou Anne most is working alongside benefactors, principals, and development leaders who are committed to advancing Catholic education. She has presented at national fundraising conferences and finds great joy in coaching and mentoring rising fundraising professionals. One of her most meaningful career moments came from witnessing a donor move from initial hesitation to making a transformational contribution and estate gift — a powerful reminder of the joy and impact of giving.
Outside of work, Lou Anne is fueled by movement and challenge. For more than three decades, she trained before dawn to run multiple half-marathons and marathons with a close group of friends. Grounded by a gratitude mindset and motivated by her Apple Watch fitness goals, Lou Anne brings energy, heart, and purpose to everything she does in support of Catholic schools.
