This grant supports diverse needs within preschool programs, including establishing new offerings, expanding existing ones, and creating additional classrooms or facilities. It aims to increase capacity and enhance the quality of Catholic preschool education. The grant also focuses on refining instructional practices, developing curriculum, fostering teacher professional growth, engaging families, evaluating programs, and aligning with licensing and accreditation standards.
Beyond grants, the PNOE has created two different guides to help schools either transition to an in-house preschool program or propose preschool capacity expansions to stakeholders for optimal buy-in. Both guides offer administrators strategies, proposal outlines, and timelines to enhance excellence and enrollment in their own preschool programs.
