CSCOE’s Saintly Service program underscores the significance of creating a positive impression and nurturing meaningful engagement with all who compose our Catholic school communities.
Based on the charisms of seven Catholic saints, CSCOE developed the following set of “customer service” standards to guide Catholic school faculty and staff members in enhancing their schools’ cultures.
- St. Benedict – “Offer Incredible Hospitality”
- St. Teresa of Calcutta – “Be Assertively Friendly”
- St. Ignatius of Loyola – “Assume Positive Intent”
- St. Therese of Lisieux – “Pay Attention to the Little Things”
- St. John XXIII – “Foster a Culture of Joy”
- St. Joan of Arc – “Take Action and Initiative”
- St. Francis of Assisi – “Be the Change You Wish to See”
Each month of the school year, members of Catholic school communities are nominated for exemplifying these charisms. Then, CSCOE selects an exceptional recipient to receive that month’s Halo Award.
