Kate Emmel brings a dynamic blend of education, development, and admissions experience to her role at CSCOE. A graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in English and a background in secondary education, Katebegan her career as a high school English teacher in Washington, D.C. She later served as admissions director at her alma mater, Benilde-St. Margaret’s School, and spent seven years at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, where she helped secure student job placements and supported a development team that raised over $4 million annually.

At CSCOE, Kate leads donor growth and engagement efforts by building meaningful connections that strengthen Catholic schools. She is passionate about sharing powerful stories of impact—highlighting how CSCOE’s programs elevate academic excellence, boost enrollment, and inspire faith-filled leaders for the future.

For Kate, supporting schools that form tomorrow’s ethical and compassionate leaders is both a professional calling and a personal mission. She loves collaborating with the smart, funny, and caring team at CSCOE. Outside of work, you’ll often find Kate and her husband cheering on their daughters as they dance, tumble, and ski, or enjoying live theater together.
