Kathleen McFadden brings a strategic, empowering spirit to her role as a literacy content specialist at CSCOE. She holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and a master’s degree in reading from St. Xavier University in Chicago. With extensive training in LETRS, Responsive Classroom, and SIOP, Kathleen has served as a Groves literacy coach and as a teacher and interventionist in both Catholic and public elementary schools.
She is inspired by CSCOE’s bold commitment to equity and teacher empowerment, knowing that when educators are well-supported, student success naturally follows. For Kathleen, the heart of the mission is clear: ensuring that all students have access to high-quality, faith-based learning.
Collaboration is what fuels her. Kathleen thrives on working with a team that shares her passion for Catholic education—and brings both heart and impact to everything they do.
And a fun fact? Her very first principal was the brother of the newly elected Pope.
