CSCOE BIO
As CSCOE’s Associate Director of Advancement, Leah’s primary role is coordinating CSCOE’s annual giving program to increase financial support for the 156 Catholic preschool-8th grade schools in Minnesota. Leah is committed to sharing the story of CSCOE’s impact on our Catholic school communities and inviting others to invest in students and teachers by supporting the programs and initiatives that will help them thrive.
WHY CSCOE?
“Having been involved with Catholic schools as a student, employee, volunteer and parent, I have seen firsthand the benefits of strong, faith-based educational communities.”
ABOUT LEAH
Leah is well-equipped with the necessary skills to excel in her fundraising endeavors, holding a B.A. in Journalism (Public Relations) and Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas.
Prior to joining CSCOE, Leah spent more than 15 years in various fundraising roles for Catholic educational institutions. Most recently, she worked with The Saint Paul Seminary and Saint John Vianney College Seminary on the University of St. Thomas campus to successfully exceed the goal of a $47 million campaign.
Leah is actively involved in her local parish, Holy Spirit in St. Paul, where she volunteers as a musician at the church and in various capacities within the school, including Art Adventures, robotics (where she learns just as much as the kids), special events, and book fair (her favorite!)
Leah's husband, Christopher, shares her dedication to Catholic education, teaching art at a Catholic preschool-12th grade school in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Their two daughters, Victoria and Audrey, both attend Holy Spirit Catholic School.
Outside of work, Leah loves to sing and play the piano, explore local parks and trails with her family, spend time in the garden, and cuddle up with a cup of coffee and a good book.
Leah Santer's connection to Catholic education is deeply rooted in her own experience as a student at Holy Redeemer in Marshall, which she attended from pre-K to 3rd grade until her family moved to a nearby town. Leah’s mother also taught at Holy Reedemer for 15 years. Go Chargers!
